This piece plays with light and shadow for it was made surrounded by them. The crocheting that gave birth to it is a technique that allows movement, not only of the piece, but also of its creator while creating.

Through the light crochet, she now sees differently. The fabric can be stretched or draped, but what lies behind it remains visible. As if the world is more reachable now. Its grid forms straight lines at first before loosening into a living pattern. The repeating stitches offer a comforting rhythm until they insist on breaking free and claiming novelty.

 

Once it changes, there is no turning back, yet there is always the chance to uncover new meanings. Everything is related and interconnected. Each element relies on another to be complete.
