Culture and identity are formed based on a counterpoint. Thickness exists in contraposition to thinness. With that in mind, for every characteristic, there is an opposite one, the other. 

I showed the primary foundation for my identity: my heritage, my lineage, and my own history. However, my identity is a combination of what I got from my family and what makes me different. In this project, they are my other. 

The entire concept was to show where I came from and who I became.
